Contributing a saved copy

Historical policy, retained for existing consent records. The former contribution controls are no longer shown in My Drive. Disconnect still stops RomFix access, and withdrawal records remain effective. New Save requests use the Save and pool policy. The text below records the prior interface and choices.

Saving uses your Google Drive storage. If you choose to contribute, RomFix can use that exact verified saved copy as a source for authenticated firmware downloads while your connection and file permissions allow it.

RomFix does not upload or create a second copy to enroll the file. It does not scan or enroll unrelated files in your Drive. A successful Save remains successful when contribution enrollment is pending.

You can stop contribution from My Drive. Stopping delists the copy even if the file remains accessible through Google. It does not delete the saved file. Disconnecting prevents further credential use and does not delete your files or history.
